About Me

My name is Marcus and I am a violin teacher based in Essendon, Melbourne. I work as a primary school music teacher and hold an accredited Diploma in Music from the Melbourne Conservatorium (University of Melbourne) and a Working With Children Check (WWCC).

I enjoy working alongside young people and exploring their musical interest. I engage with children and young adults through my positions as a music teacher, tutor and volunteer at a Children’s Hospital. I love mentoring students of all ages and abilities, including Adult learners!

Beyond teaching, I am an experienced performing violinist available for weddings and events across Melbourne. I have performed at numerous ceremonies and receptions, bringing elegance and emotion to couples' most important moments.

My passion

My ultimate goal is fostering a love for music in my lessons. I understand that practice can be hard and stressful at home, so my teaching style is approachable and relaxed.

I incorporate both traditional and Suzuki methods in my teaching.
